Malahide Yacht Club (Broadmeadow Inlet) is the venue for this year’s Crosbie Cup on Saturday 19th andSunday 20th July.
To those not familiar with this event, it is aimed at Optimist Silver (senior and junior) and Regatta Fleet sailors.
Skerries sailors have traditionally attended this event in numbers, and have often camped when it was held in Lough Ree or Lough Derg in the Midlands.
It is a very relaxed event, and anyone who has attended it will confirm strong enjoyment by all children.
Given that it is so local to North County this year, we would encourage all our Optimist sailors to attend.
Three races scheduled for each day. Registration will be open on Friday 18th between 19.00 and 21.00hrs and from 09.00 to 12.00 on Saturday 19th.
Parking of cars is limited on the club site but visitors will be directed to ample public parking adjacent to the club overlooking the sailing area.
Final deadline for entries is Wednesday 16th July.
